The competitive program is for boys and girls ages 8 - 18 who have developed advanced soccer skills and participate in a try-out process in May each year to be placed on a specific age group competitive team.
Season: The competitive season runs for about 9 to 10 months, starting in August and ending in April or May of the following year, depending on the final season tournaments and State Cup. Competitive teams plan their entire season by June or July by registering in local leagues and competitive tournaments as recommended by the coach. Tournaments are an extra cost to the player so a team budget is put together by parent consensus.
There are 2 levels of competitive teams per age group at FC Bravo.
1. Bravo - Plays in the highest level of competitions in Arizona and some out of state travel for higher levels of competitions.
2. Bravo Academy - This level is for players who are close to being fluent on advanced individual and team skills. They also participate in division 2 type leagues and tournaments.
Training: 2 to 4 times per week depending on the age group and coaching recommendations.
Coaching: All competitive teams are coached by experienced coaches.
